National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters Awards 2011
NABOB (National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters) held its 27th Annual Communication Awards Dinner Friday evening, March 4, 2011 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC.
The honorees this year were Mr. Buddy Guy - NABOB Pioneer in Music Award, Mr. Slinger “Mighty Sparrow” Francisco - NABOB Pioneer in Music Award, Ms. Soledad O’Brien - NABOB Mickey Leland Public Service Award and Dr. Bobby Jones - NABOB Pioneer in Gospel Music Award
The night concluded with musical performances by Fantasia, Regina Belle & Chrisette Michele.
Gearshift created a highlight video that will be used by NABOB to retain sponsors for the next year's event.
