What Kind of Digital SLR Camera Should I Buy?

There are a lot of good cameras on the market, in fact most digital slr cameras will be able to produce a great image. With that said, I would focus on getting different lenses. Lens variety is the key to developing great photographs and my first recommendation is to get a 50mm 1.4f lens. This image was shot with a Nikon D80 in natural light with the 50mm 1.4f lens.

It's all about the lens

Most of the images throughout the Gearshift sites were shot with a Nikon D80 but it was the assortment of lenses that was the main factor in why the pictures look nice. So my advice is to not worry so much about the camera body but about the lens you attach to it.
