The city has not only the political intrigue, military strategies and investigative journalism, but also all those immediately recognizable monuments and memorials. BBC London hired Gearshift Producer Don Napoleon on their recent documentary film production to assist with location shots. Gearshift was requested to cover the Capitol File After Party on Saturday May 9th, 2009 at the Corcoran Gallery of Art next to the White House. The video, due out this week, was shot in 720p60p HD. This event was one of the top 5 ever covered by DC based Gearshift.tv. A-List celebrities were everywhere. Eva Longoria, Christian Slater, Forest Whitaker, Owen Wilson, Jim Cramer, Ludacris, Wanda Sykes, Amber Tamblyn, Biz Markie, Rom Emanuel and many others. were mingling with the masses. The Capitol File created a warm red glowing event sponsored by Qatar Airlines, Maker's Mark, Borgata, SunTrust and others. Gearshift worked with BearingPoint to create web videos for its "New Thinking in Government" campaign. The shoot was around the monuments and downtown area of Washington DC and provided a great backdrop for the campaign. The video was shot in 1080p30p format.
