Gearshift, producers of artistic video and photography, was hired by Fashion Designer Aidah to capture the essence of her event at the L2 Lounge in Georgetown. Our task was to create a re-cap video of the evening set to music by DJ Neekola. The HD video will be posting on YouTube this week.
Telefonica is one of the largest international phone companies in the world. Telefonica was in DC for International Telecom Week at the Marriott Wardman Park Conference Center. Gearshift was requested to cover the Capitol File After Party on Saturday May 9th, 2009 at the Corcoran Gallery of Art next to the White House. The video, due out this week, was shot in 720p60p HD. This event was one of the top 5 ever covered by DC based Gearshift.tv. A-List celebrities were everywhere. Eva Longoria, Christian Slater, Forest Whitaker, Owen Wilson, Jim Cramer, Ludacris, Wanda Sykes, Amber Tamblyn, Biz Markie, Rom Emanuel and many others. were mingling with the masses. Dave & Ray http://www.daveandray.com/ were the promoters for the event and on Wednesday nights, Josephine is the place to be. Gearshift provides freelance photography and video production services to night clubs, lounges and restaurants in the DC area.

The biggest owners and promoters in the city call on Gearshift to capture great video and photography of their events and venues. Inauguration Day was a happy day. So many people came in to the city to share their joy. It really felt electric all weekend long. Here are a few shots as I worked my way from the Lincoln Memorial towards the Washington Monument.
Gearshift worked with BearingPoint to create web videos for its "New Thinking in Government" campaign. The shoot was around the monuments and downtown area of Washington DC and provided a great backdrop for the campaign. The video was shot in 1080p30p format.
Gearshift was on location at the Donatelli residence for the 2010 campaign Kick-Off/Birthday Party for Washington DC Mayor Adrian Fenty.
